Share Your Knowledge

Do you have information about a historical instrument maker or player?

We're always looking to uncover new information when researching for our books, and many leads have come from personal connections or family records. Perhaps your ancestors were involved in the violin-making business, or maybe your instrument has an inscription with biographical details of its maker inside - anything like this is valuable knowledge!

If you have any information that might be useful or otherwise inaccessible to us, we'd love to hear what you have to say. Feel free to get in contact with us via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Order before 31 March 2019 to have your copy of The English Double Bass signed by the authors along with a personalised message.

Do you have a rare or important instrument that we should know about?

During the process of making a book it is fascinating to see what instruments have surfaced, and letting us know about yours could lead to it being featured in a future publication. Send us some photographs and anything that may be of interest will be put to the authors for consideration.
